Open House Will Detail Land Use Options In Revamped SEADIP

February 6, 2015

A final community workshop is on tap next Wednesday before city officials and their consultants begin work on a specific rewrite of the SEADIP land use plan.

SEADIP (Southeast Area Development and Improvement Plan) was passed in 1977 as a master zoning of southeastern Long Beach, particularly around the Pacific Coast Highway and Second Street intersection. A revision has been sought for several years, largely because every development in the area has included conditional use permits and other exceptions to the original document.
